My regular buddies are either out of state or busy over Christmas, so I was wondering if any of you fellow Scubaboard members would like to dive over the next few weeks. I'd like to get in a lot of diving from 21 Dec 07 thru 6 Jan 08. Here are the dates I'm available assuming weather is ok.
21-22 Dec 07
Late afternoon/night of 26 Dec 07
27 Dec 07
Possibly 1 dive on 28 Dec 07
1-6 Jan 08
I'm actually diving 23 Dec as well but it's a boat dive that's been planned for a few weeks. 24-26 Dec will be a surface interval with my mom who doesn't dive. I'm diving the Channel Islands 29-31 Dec and we should get back late on the 31st if all goes like it did on the last 3 day Truth Aquatics trip I took with enough time for me to catch a New Years eve dive with the Kelp Krawlers that night.
As far as experience, I guess I'm technically a fairly "new" diver since I got certified in mid June, but I'm close to 60 dives since then, so I'm very comfortable in the water and have all my own gear (including tanks--still diving a wetsuit though...my drysuit instructor came down with pneumonia, so I have to hold off on the drysuit course for now). I just finished up my rescue diver course too.
I'm up for whatever. The deepest I've dove is 100 feet (although most diving I've done is between 50-80 feet). I'm newly Nitrox certified. If you'd like to do a boat dive on one of those days, I'm good with that. I just want to dive. Been going through withdrawals over the past few weeks. Hopefully the weather will play along with us.
