We really liked Paradise. We did it three times, once at night. There were a lot of other divers there, but it was probably the best shallow reef we did.

Glad to read TSand M's report about Cozumel, and Aldora.......

I went in mid Feb, and the diving was great!

Mateo is a very personable, and professional DM....... and just a nice guy as well.

The boat's all ran great..........

Greg And Kay were wonderful hosts....... Greg provides a truthful inviting hospitality.

--I look forward to diving in Cozumel again sometime........ I might even venture our
with other dive ops just to see.....

Aldora's our new dive shop in Coz as of last year. They guarantee diving on your day of arrival. There are not many shops in Coz that will do that - see for yourself.

Aldora does charge a bit more than other ops, but we never had a dive under 1 hour with those big tanks. Once we got back from our May trip, I compared them to other dive shops based upon price per dive and bottom time and I found that there wasn't much difference in price based upon that comparison. Plus, their service is exceptional, starting at when you arrive at the airport.

Yeah to all of that ... our plane touched down at around 10:30 ... four hours later we were diving. Gotta love that ... :D

As we have learned, a diving Bob is a happy Bob :D

Have to agree with Aldora & all......except, Greg is out of the airport meeting business as of sometimes this year....We went in Oct '06 & was met by him, went back March '07 & had to get our own transportation from the airport( that new 'law' or something they put in).....Not a big deal, it cost like $5 US each to get to our hotel, Vista del Mar, which is around the corner from Aldora(we walked our BC & Regulators over).....Love the afternoon then nite dive you get in on the day of arrival......

Just one word . . . You have to be sure and let Aldora know you want to dive the day you get in. I assumed from the website that that was a given, and they had to scramble a bit to get a boat together for us the first day. But they did it.

Would you give us a description of your cenote diving, what it was like, temp, vis, what you saw and why you prefer it to Coz diving?
