Yup, I know the feeling. As long as people are prepared and take all that into account there is no problem. Just don't rush it so much you overlook things.

I never do; I'm there for two weeks. Maybe I'll do a little shore dive to check my rig and my buoyancy, but that's the extent of it.

"Rummy" was meant to describe being fuzzy and stupid from sleep deprivation, not intoxicated, by the way.

Bob and I are members of the Borg. Group mind, and all that . . . Bob denies it, but it's true.

That is very smart. Yup, who needs to rush? Relax and enjoy.

[[[On the other hand, if you can't sleep on a plane and you're rummy and stupid from sleep deprivation, it probably isn't smart to dive]]]] TSandM

You mentioned drinking alcohol AND used the word rummy so one would automatically put the two of them together

[[ and if you don't drink your way from one destination to another]]], TSandM

If your husband is ok with you guys being of the Borg and Group mind, and all that, then it's OK with me.:D

The only moaning I'm doing is about not being there yet. C'mon May 5!!!

That's one of good about living in Texas (never mind the drought) - you can jump on a plane at DFW at 730AM and be in Coz by 1030AM. We can usually stop by the shop, unpack at the hotel, maybe make a quick grocery run to Chedraui and still be ready to meet the boat at 100PM.

Wanted to chime in on diving the day of arrival. I am not sure on the other shops but Aldora guarentees a dive the day of arrival, unless of course you arrive so late in the day it is virtually impossible, i.e. late afternoon or evening. I have never heard them say it requires x amount of divers. There are no doubt numerous excellent dive shops, Aldora is who I dive with because of the comfort factor. I fall into the category of creature of habit. One of these trips I want to do a day of diving with Christi's shop because of the glowing reports from the divers. BTW scubabum2, I saw airfare this weekend from DFW for $99 round trip. We are going down for Fri-Mon to get a fix. Still counting $ for the ladies in pink?

have to have 3 or more for a single tank afternoon dive......2 tank twilite & nitedive they will go with only 2.....I know, it happened to us March 8th, '07......
