I booked a friends airline ticket mispelling his name "Brett" when it should be "Bret". It is for a flight within the US. Does anyone know if Delta will hit me with a change fee to fix it and is the mistake significant enough that it will prevent boarding?

Thanks,

Eric

Suggest you call the airline and fix it. I doubt they will charge you. I did the same thing a while back when booking tickets for my son's girl friend. I spelled her last name wrong and they fixed it no problem. She likely would NOT have been able to board with the error. ID's gotta match the ticket info.

I had the same issue with the name Samanatha.
Called the airline (Southwest) and they fixed without a charge.
