Well I will keep The AIR II.. it may as well be getting wit with me as sitting n the closet but the Occy is for me so... I bought a reg that can be adjusted when I want to use it. I crank it right back when I am not using it but can easily adjust the flow to level of demand I prefer.

I have it bungied and practice ducking my head down and breathing off it without using my hands. That means if somone takes me by surprise either knocks my reg out of my mouth or takes my reg I know I where my next breath is coming from.

I must say that I found the "streamlining" to be a non issue! My husband's 20 year old occy has just developed a crack and leak. We put my Occy on his system for our dive 3 days ago and I really didn't feel that removing the Occy made any difference. I know where my gear is, have reasonable SA and have never had an entanglment in over 400 bottom hours :idk: I guess for some the streamlining and entanglement are greater dangers depending on type of dives, bouyancy control, entanglement prone sites and SA.

I will be happy when he resolves his Occy problem and returns mine! It has come in handy to have the option to loan him mine and not miss dies until his can be fixed or replaced!

I have been using an AIR2 since this Spring and very much like it. I can breathe off it, inflate or deflate my BCD as needed and have another diver breathe off my primary without issue. I did my rescue diver course with this setup. I find the AIR2 is easy to grab and place in my mouth with my left hand.
