AIR2 'legal' outside US ?

OK, enough!!! We'll wait until there is more on this Air2 thing.
As of now: Sounds like it's only in Israel is it law, and possibly the preference of some dive operations. And tec divers and DIR don't do "Air2". ;)

as far as I can tell the it isn't the law in Israel ether. there is a regulation that list the minim equipment for diving which ruffly translates to:

when diving with compressed gas you must have two regulators (a primary and a back up).

I'm quite sure that if you had a donate-able primary (long hose for instance) then you could dive with Air2/3 (don't think I would want to)

No!!! In Israel by Israel Dive Authority Regulations ("administrative law") you need a reg to breath from (I suppose you could put it on a long hose/DIR) and a regular octopus, and a regular low pressure BCD inflator hose. I don't know why you'd need a 4th setup, but I suppose you could go ahead and take an Air2/3 - who knows what the IDA would say about that.:popcorn:
