There used to be a time when JB had normal flow that you would just barely make it to the first T on a set of well pumped 104s,and you'd exit on a few 100 psi.

I've been in there when we just gave up! Couldn't make any headway swimming and couldn't find anything decent to pull on. The ride out was a hoot, though

I know what you mean. Little River used to be like that,and when coming out of the last 100' it was spitting you out,and you had to hold onto anything from losing control and running the chance of AGE.

I've been in both when it more like underwater rock climbing than diving.

I was into rock climbing pretty seriously for maybe 25 years until diving started to be more important . Cave Diving can be a great way to combine both sports.

I remember after the flood of 98 when the aquifer was well charged,the flow was on steroids. I was using a fast DV3X,and in the bedding plane area before the T,I was on speed 9 and having to pull along the floor as well-it was insane.

And now a no stage swim dive to the trash room is possible! Do you know if Twin or Hole in the Wall were effected?

1. WHAT'S WRONG with breathing like a girl???

2. In December , I dove with a buddy of mine and we made it to the Stop-light (4th tee) , no stage. (I was using double LP 85's)
That is the beginning of the trash room correct?

2. I think the trash room "officially" starts about 50' past the stop light, but you still made it 2100' in on 85s, so I guess you breathe like a girl too! Oh wait...you are a girl...

Btw: The flow is DOWN in Manatee still. I would of made it to Freedman's (swimming) today easy. (we turned 300 feet short of Friedman's and I still had about 600 psi left). So Manatee is a great dive TOO , right now. (VIS is great too)

Gads , having your scooter on FULL POWER and STILL having to pull...UFFDA
