Air blowing out of the intake on my bauer

If it's a reed valve, you might have it reversed.
 
Sometimes, the head gasket will shift when reassembled, creating an opening between the intake and discharge side of the head. Basically creating a situation where air is drawn in and pushed right back out the intake. Did you use RTV sealant on the head gasket? A clue to this being a problem is no first stage pressure builds or if there are no interstage gauges, the first stage head might get warm, but the second stage head will stay cool. This of course is provided that the reed valve was installed properly to begin with.:D
