We're considering booking an Aggressor liveaboard trip through one of their sales, maybe Belize, Caymans, or Turks & Caicos. Some of the trips have incredibly low bookings and are coming up soon.
For example, the Belize Aggressor III trip in two months Dec. 13-20, 2025 appears to only have one passenger booked. The vessel has 9 cabins and only 1 person is booked in cabin 6 so far. All other cabins look to be available based on the information on their website:
Given the time of year for that trip I'm not surprised that bookings are low.
I understand that Aggressor has lots of fans and lots of detractors. That said, I'm really just interested in feedback about Aggressor cancelling trips due to low bookings. The cancellation/refund policy is all about if the passenger cancels, not if Aggressor cancels.
I have read a lot of threads including the long one about the trip that was cancelled a day in advance due to a group cancellation, but it seems like that type of cancellation was a pretty unique exception. I'd imagine if they routinely cancelled trips with low bookings like this there would be more chatter about it. At the same time, I can't imagine a trip with so few bookings actually proceeding.
Does Aggressor routinely cancel trips with low bookings? Has anyone sailed with Aggressor with very low occupancy? I appreciate any input you can share. Thanks!
