Man, we're a bunch of geezers, eh? I'm 55, wife 61. Both passing the 800 dive mark this year. I LIKE that aarp discount idea!

I'll be going for my open water certification dives this weekend. I'm only 49, but by next year I'll be adding to that 50-54 age group and helping to bump that 4%.

still have kids under 10 that limit time and funds,happily though,I do agree that a lot of people spend the money on classes and thats it.as a matter of fact 2 out of the 7 that were in my ow class 1 1/2 years ago havent dove since.

I'm aged 50 almost one...ish. 300+ dives/over last 6 years. Been diving off and on since I was a kid.
Any of you other 4 % ers notice than MOST of the live-aboards' majority passenger manifests are populated with mostly 4%Clubers'?
Ever notice that? I suspect, when you're young, you mostly exist in the red, if you know what I mean. 5 cert dives; spent the allowance; then nada mas.
