I understand that they do not have an off switch, but it also says that after two hours it will automatically shut off, but its been about 4 hours and mine is still on. do you have to set it to turn off? Anyone have any experience with this computer?

Just set it down and leave it alone, it will turn off.

If you just dove it may be in a 24-hour "no fly mode." If so the display might have a timer that shows when it is "safe" to fly. Once the timer reaches zero the computer should shut off. If you didn't dive refer to Nemrod's advice.

If you have the wet activation on the two hour countdown wont start until the contacts dry out. I have seen a computer still on a week after a dive because it was put in an airtight case and it never dried out. Leave it out in a dry place and it should turn off. You could probably blow some air on the contacts to get rid of the water and speed up the process a bit.

I used to have one. All the advice above is correct. As long as it is not sitting in a wet container it will go off when it's designed to go off. If you just used it on a dive the display will stay active until it clears otherwise it will turn off shortly.

Most dive computers don't have off switches. They need power until they are cleared.
