Aeris Rx1 Nx

I have purchased a new Aeris -1 Nx computer. I have a few questions that I have not been able to answer with the manual. I am unable to find the location to set the date/month year info.I have a compass mounted and I don't see how to change the battery if and when the time comes for that chore.

the XR-1 doesn't have a date so there's nothing to set

The computer unit comes out of the rubber console pretty easily, assuming it's the standard Aeris rubber console that looks like this:

I can remove my wife's with only my hands. I put my fingers on the top edge of the console, thumb in the center on the back (of the computer "area") and press and the bottom edge of the computer pops right out.

Thanks. I guess I presumed that a log entry would include a date. I tried the removal method and it works...they gave me a tool to do the pry and and now I know how to use it...Thanks again.

The XR-1 Nx has a date ...... See module 4 of the online class

Interesting. there' snothign in the manual addressing date and there's no option to set a date on the computer itself. I cannot view "module 4" without buying the class, but I'd be interested to see what is in there.
