Pretty simple question - I've got a chance to pick up an Atmos for next to nothing thanks to a friends unfortunate DCS hit that has forced him out of diving.

I was in the market for a Zeagle Ranger, now I'm debating between buying this Atmos LX from him, or maybe his Zeagle Stilleto.

Any opinions on the two?

I can't speak to the models but what are the chances of you taking it out for a day of diving? How it fits and feels on you is the most valuable information.

I have the Aeris ATMOS XT which is the predecessor to the ATMOS LX. I actually like the orientation of the weight pockets on the ATMOS LX better.

The ATMOS XT/LX are very well made BCs. I have never used a Zeagle Stiletto so I can't give you a comparison.

I would take Spectrum's suggestion and ask you friend if you can try both of them so you can decide which one you wish to buy.

The LX is a very good hybrid cell. I like the design of the pockets and side bladders. Very streamlined, low profile. Easy to use weight pockets, comfortable, good design all around.

I'm not personally familiar with that particular Zeagle. But I would ask to try them both out first. Gear up with them, see how they feel.
