advice on diving in KY

I am in Louisville, KY making my way to Florida. Seems pretty cold here. It looks like most of the quarries are closed for the season. Are people still diving or are they flying further south to go diving?

Pennyroyal Quarry is open by prior arrangement, or was when last I checked.

I am not sure what quarries are still open but some folks dive in the local lakes year round. I would offer to meet you sometime soon but I am short on gear for the time being. But you might get another offer around here from one of the other idiots that dive in the freezing cold.
