Thanks everyone.
Will probably pick up some Sink the Stink at the local dive shop, if not weve got baby shampoo!!!! :D

Simple Green is what my dive shop recomended. Me and my dive buddies have been using it on our Henderson Hyperstretch suits for 3 years with no problems.

Try a small amount of mountain spring tide detergent in medium warm water.
Let it soak for a hour ,scrub & rinse with garden hose.

I use it alot on nylon in/out wetsuit . It not only cleans quarry yuck , but also does a good job on eliminating odors. Make sure it is non bleach detergent.

Simple Green is the answer. Seriously, it smells good and doesn't hurt anything. It uses enzymes that will continue to kill the stink after it dries. It's the inexpensive answer to all your neoprene-stink problems :D

Whew, thanks everyone! It's good to know I'm not killing my gear by using Simple Green. I definitely preferred how it worked to the Mirazyme or Sink the Stink, which never seem to "do anything". I can't say how many times we've tried those products only to have our wetsuits still stink after a lot of repetitive diving. The Simple Green did the trick for sure this time and we'll keep using it.

Hi guys,
I just thought I'd let you know that we recommend LOC by Amway. If you are unable to get that, we also like the Simple Green. Just stay away from detergants. I always carry a small bottle of Febreeze in my dive bag to freshen my suit.

I keep a large trash can just for dive gear. When I get home after a dive I fill the trash can with water add some "Simple Green" dump al the gear in and just leave it there untill the next morning. Then I hang it up to dry.

Any mild soap would do as well. I think the important part is to let it soak for 24+ hours and then hang it up until it is bone dry. Getting it 100% dry is hard if you dive frequentlly, sometimes I'll bring it indoor to hang in the heated indoor space so I can use it the next day.

I think the 100% drying part is important, the critters that make the suit smell bad can't live without moisture.
