Hi,
I just purchased a new Halcyon backplate setup and configured the webbing as directed. I went out on a dive and the shoulder straps were too tight and the whole system could not be adjusted in the water. I couldn't even take the rig off by myself after the dive. I wanted to know is it advisable to eleiminate the two lower clips on the webbing located on the bottom of the backplat? Would this allow the shoulder straps to be adjusted by loosening and tightening the waist webbing? Are there any safety concerns by doing this? If this works it would allow the rig to be used with the three different exposure suits I wear for different types of diving with out having to adjust the length of the shoulder straps. I planning on getting the ACB weight system, would there be any conflicts with this system?
Thanks in Advance
