Multilevel Bulleted and Numbered Lists
You can turn Bulleted and Numbered lists into multilevel or outline-style lists by selecting a line and using the indent option. Example:- ScubaBoard is the best website for divers because:
- It is the largest Website for divers on the Internet
- Members freely share their hard-earned knowledge
- This new upgrade is so darn good.
- ScubaBoard is over 20 years old providing a snapshot into the history of how standards, attitudes, and technology changes
Freeform Lists
There are times when formatting limitations of bulleted and numbered lists are too restrictive, like when you want multiple paragraphs and/or images between line items. You can also create freeform lists by using Smilies like these:
This method will not indent and align text flush to the right of the Smilie and may not be as suitable for paragraphs that wrap to two or more lines. You can use the Indent option, like this example.
Suggestions
There are times when you want to add text after a list. Just press Enter at your last item, which will add a bulleted or numbered blank line, and press Enter again to end the list and make that last line disappear.
To convert your list between bulleted and number just select the list and click on the opposite list style.
It is possible to add an image in a list by ending a line of text with a "Manual Line Break", which is done with Shift-Enter. Then paste the image on that blank line.
Another typographic technique used in lists is to indent part of the text like in the example below:
