ADHD is a "multifactorial disease." In other words it means different things to different people and can have different degrees of severity. I would not be comfortable allowing one of my patients to dive on the medications. They can have different actions under water. One might argue that not taking the medicines might cause the diver to be less attentive to detail. This is true, so professionally I would have to say no to diving. The final decision rests with the patient, but due to medical/ legal reasons, I would document that I am against it.
