Adapter for Sherwood Shadow like inflator hose in line mounting of regulator?

Am I imagining this or did someone used to make such a beast?

I dont understand what adaptor you are looking for? (Okay I had a hard day) but can you maybe elaborate a bit.?

I am pretty sure I saw in a catalog somewhere something that would let any left side hose attable reg (like an S/P r190, or the XTX line from Apeks) get put on an adaptor to make it "in line with the inflator hose", kind of like this:

Sherwood Shadow Inflator Octopus Regulator

(Except obviously it would stick out more like the original Shadow did.)

Yes there was once a beast. I have been using this set up for over 20 years. My reg is in the shop right now or I would post a picture.
It consists of a 'Y' hose so that one end of the hose attaches to the reg, and one to the BC inflater. I'm not sure if the 'Y' hose was ever sold separately. I bought the whole thing at once with what Sherwood then called the 'Shadow' ( but it is a lot bigger thatn what you see today by that name)

Yes, there was one and I believe that Trident was the purveyor of the item. I have two (one unused one in my save a dive kit/box). As I have gone to the Air 2 for my rec gear, I do not have a need for the unused second one. It is a neat device though. It takes a reg that mounts from the left (or it would be upside down). It is a Y shaped device. One connects to the LP inflator on the BC and the other to the second stage of the octo. PM me if you might be interested in my unused one.

I pm'd you.

Okay, gotcha, Yes I know now what you mean. I think you will probably still get em but it will take a lot of scouting - but seems you are set anyway.
