We're finishing our OW certification in Cabo with dives 3&4 the 1st week of July, following this up with a couple of additional dives along the Corridor and I'm trying to determine what wetsuit to buy/carry. I'm leaning towards a 3mm shortie as I'm always fairly warm (having a bit of natural padding aka fat that helps).

Any idea where to find somewhat accurate water temperatures for Mexico?

I've looked at Sea water temperature. Surface temperatures on the coast.
and
World Water Temperature | Sea Temperatures

Both have ocean temps in the low 70 degree range, 73/74. The .org site gets its info from the NOAA, and I'm thinking the .info site does too.

I'm also assuming this is surface temp, though we won't be going too deep since we're only finishing up our OW certification.

Thanks much!

Popular misconception about water temperatures along the Pacific coast. We researched Cabo diving for our trip this past November and had upper 70's/low 80's in the water.

Your research is correct, expect water to be in the low to mid 70's in late June/early July.
