Per the photos and reports I'm reading on FB, the diver walked out of the surf and got assistance from the lifeguards. Should be just fine.

On the other hand, the lifeguards' truck got stuck in the sand, with an incoming tide, and had to be towed out via tractor just as the water got there.

We stopped by Vet's and it was the flattest I've seen in years. Surf was no more than six inches. There were three police cars next to a car with dive gear next to it and a wetsuit hanging over the door. I always wonder when someone reports an accident to me.

Wow, I was there this morning. It was a beautiful day, small surf, and decent Vis. I left around 10:30 am, and did not see anything.
