access to little river

I so miss little river. I am going to be in Florida next weekend. Is it possible to acces the spring from the river? Is it even allowed. What is a convenient way when you are dragging around steel doubles and bunches of gear.

In florida you can techinally access sites via rivers, like you can at Ginnie, cuz waterways are public, however I believe that Little River is posted and river access may be blocked, so you would be trespassing, and getting caught could keep it closed to al lof us, so that's not a god idea. I hear its getting closer to being opened, as soon as they pave the parking lot. You can check for more accurate updates at www.cavediver.net.
