7 i think, for this year. I can only eat one a week before its just too rich. A couple SB members and I saw a monster on a dive we did earlier in the year, but we let it live for another day (on scuba at the time). I am ready for April 1, 2006 though!

I wouldn't know an abalone if cut my air hose, ripped my mask off, and hit me in the head with a rock at 85'.

I'm batting 1000. 8 trips, 24 Abs.

I'm planning on lots of trips to the North Coast (I grew up in Sebastopol) pre and post ab season. If anyone is interested give me a holler. I'm mostly interested in freedive trips (newb freediver, maybe 30' for 30 seconds is my best), but an occasional single tank dive would be cool too.

Spearfishing, urchin collecting, just practicing freediving, whatever. For some reason, the North Coast is really "freediving" country to me. Maybe it is those cliffs ;)

Hi Mark,

Since you have to drive by my house on the way to the coast, just drop me a line whenever you are headed up that way. I always enjoy free diving.

I am with Justin though. I scored 9 in three dive trips. I could get my limit every time, but I only like to hunt as much as I will actually eat. However, I don't mind going and playing around in the water while others hunt.

didn't get a card this year... but next year... oh yeah!!!!!!!!
