Conditions are pretty bad here in Mendocino — sea state terrible and lots of rain, some thunder. Regardless of how good you are in heavy seas, it won’t be much fun. Still, I have no doubt that the volunteer Abalone police will be on the lookout and Coast Guard choppers will be in the air tomorrow.

Well it may be a good day for surfing or just getting wet going for a swim. I worked the weekend to get Thursday and Friday off. 15' Bodega Bay and Point Arena Buoys. Wind from the south? If it gets below 10', I may go for a swim. Most likely just pack a lunch and warm clothes then go for a hike.
