A warning to Wyndham customers, especially re the Aura section

I wonder where the pressure came from? It looks like there are more families just looking for a nice place to stay than lifestylers looking to party in Cozumel. I hope they don't try to change directions again when this all fades from the forums.

Apparently this (Lifestyles) was a direction that corporate took without consulting and without the blessing of the local Cozumel management. Rumor has it that two high up management level employees from Wyndam/Sabor/Aura quit last week...and I can only speculate that it was due to this direction the property was moving towards without consulting local management.

Everyone can sleep better tonight. This email was sent to travel agents today.

"With great regret we inform all interested parties that Islander Collection, owner of Aura Resort Cozumel, acting on undisclosed pressure, has rescinded its legal contract with LSO, Ltd and will not continue as a lifestyles oriented resort. I called Lifestyles Tours and received a verbal confirmation.

Awe schucks!!! I was looking forward to some eye candy.
