OK so this isn't humour, it's almost serious, but here goes...
The Scuba Religion. "Everyone" knows that life came from the ocean, "all" religions try and make you closer to god. So I think we should found a new religion. I haven't thought of a name yet but the idea would be to become closer to "god" by entering the water, swimming is OK, but the best way would be to scuba, every Sunday of course. Of course membership of this religeon is very expensive and requires specialised training. So the question is...will it be tax deductable?

Mike Loyco:
Let's call it: Scubatarian
I like that and the leader can be called the Master and acoloytes in training can be noobs and ows.

But will it be tax deductable?!?!?!

Dude, great idea but you're too late. Haven't you heard about DIR? :eyebrow:

That took three posts longer than I guessed it would

Damn I was forgetting about DIR...They are the fundamentalist branch and we the heretical scubatarians dedicated to having fun diving no matter how your gear is configured. No lynching for not using Halcyon equipment here!

scubaptists: too much diving will make you go blind

scubatholics: and you should feel guilty afterwards

scubajews: but never on a Saturday!

From my wife:
scubarmons - free books on diving in the ancient Americas and special dive skins.

scuba's witnesses - Must tell several non-believers a week about scuba.

scubalasm - must dive 5 times a day and dive in Cozumel before dying.
