Might be a drive for you, but it should be accessible for you.
Fanning is less than a half-hour away. I saw my first shark there as a little kid. Yeah... in the spring. :D :D :D

I really feel for ya! As a pain management patient since 1991 I have a few suggestions. Don't use the medication, it only adds to the problem, and adds medication to counter the side effects of the original medication. Continue to exercise, loss of muscle causes more issues, our bones rely on muscle for support. I support the suggestion to look for multiple opinions. There is a lot of new technologies for spinal issues. I get radio frequency ablation to minimize inflammation around cervical spine. The inflammation causes the pinch and we both know what that feels like. They now have spinal cord implants that limit nerve pain electrically. They have both vertebrae and disc implants. So, don't give up, even at our age, options are available. I encourage you to find the specialist that explores options other than dealing with the symptoms. Mine is cervical and not lumbar, but there are specialists that find the right solution for you. And believe me, it works. I am pain free most of the year, drug free, after spending 20 yrs on Fentanyl, before it was a street drug and taboo. Good luck!

Has anyone had any luck with accupuncture? It helped my sciatica but that's probably peanuts to what you're experiencing.

Acupunctured broke the cycle of irritated nerves -> contracting muscles -> creating a pinch -> irritating nerves....

Pete said they needed to calm things down to get a look at them properly...

There is obviously much more "mechanical" needing to be addressed, but it can be a spiral you never get out of when you need to just calm it down....

I found this little fella on I75 a month ago…I might sprinkle treats in my beard!

Edit: my quote didn’t work but still, who doesn’t like kitten pics.

Whenever I go on a keto diet with intermittent fasting I get significant inflammation relief within a month.

After the first steroid shot, my doctor did a routine check and my A1C was high. Long story short, I qualified for Monjaro. I've lost almost 40 pounds since Christmas.
Yay weight loss drugs! I’m on Rybelsus lost 25 so far.
For back pain help, my hubby, ( with lifelong spine pain ) has an inversion table that helps relax his spine, so that might be an option for you.
