We left out of Freeport on the 2nd (Wednesday) and came back on Sunday.
It was a custom trip for a shop out of Colorado, Twin Dolphins, and were joined by a shop out of Indiana and a few from D2D.
I'll nutshell it cause I'm still tired.
The weather was fantastic for the entire trip. There were currents somewhere in the water column on every dive. Sometimes surface, sometimes mid, sometimes bottom. Sometimes a combination of the three. Sometimes they were pretty strong.
Two rig dives. Two night dives on Stetson. This is truly an awesome time to dive Stetson.
Mantas, stingrays with 5' wing spans, I saw a squadron of 3 Eagle rays. I quit swimming and just hovered. They quit swimming and just hovered looking at me. We had a moment.
A number of sharks, mostly silkys.
The bad news, a number of sea wasps were sighted.
No one took a dingy ride. Everyone had a great time. It was a really fun group.
