Hey guys, would like some advice. I got a pretty painful rash behind my knee, from wearing a 7mm full for about 10 hours on Saturday. Has anyone tried body glide? Any other preventive steps to take?

Wear a full skin under it. And try taking your suit off in between dives.

I second Marie's advice. A full skin is the answer and drying off during any breaks also helps. I often spend long days in a wetsuit at work. Sadly, body glide does not stand up to a full day in the water. I get significant neck chaffing and have tried just about everything. Nothing has helped except another layer of material.

YMMV,

I wore 2 piece rashgaurd underneath, but the legs aren't tight to my body, so the calf section bunched up behind my knee, exacerbating the situation. Can you provide links to the type of skin you've used?

I use a pvalve with my semi dry suit. Prevents rashes and stink when you are practically living in the suit.

If you are looking for just something to go over the legs, perhaps our lycra pants would work. They are tight fitting and should not bunch up; also they have stirrup strap to make sure they do not ride up when you pull the heavy 7 mm suit over it.
