I do dives all the time with an 80 and a 40cuft pony in the >150ft range. bottom time is limited by temp not deco or air usually. For the 72's I fill them to 3000 and dive them in pairs for sidemount, thats the only thing I have used them for and they are my favorite tanks.
 
Thanks for all the input. I decided to wait till I can get a steel 95. That will be a better option. I have 2 AL 80's now but if I sell them I will only get $200 for them both if I sell them myself. They have a brand new hydro and VE so they are good to go for a few years. They are O2 cleaned too.

Good news...I'm getting HP steel 118's. Now everyone can sleep at night.

Anybody want a pair of AL 80's as described above?

Yes...all good AL80's get to be deco bottles eventually.

The bad ones end up being dive shop rental tanks.
 
I wish I could keep them. If I kept all the bottles, between the hydro's, VIP's and O2 cleaning I wouldn't be able to afford to dive...LOL
