cruising in 2 columns.. like clydesdales of the sea!
bold, powerful, dominant!

fuzzy video i know..
tho' the viz was good today.. there was some fog in the water..
(maybe i was too quick on the trigger and didn't let it focus)
you can still count 'em :)
i'll try to post a larger video later.

in the meantime.. here's the hammerhead we saw at the seamount before the new year..

exciting

halemano.. thanks for the critter I.D.
i think you're right.. "marbled shrimp" it is.

smellzlikefish.. excellent photos of your 8 x hammerheads!
i really need to get over to molokai.
the 7 x hammers yesterday were on Route 66..
part of the Ewa Ledge (just West of Pearl Harbor Channel)..
and they looked in a hurry to get someplace.
folks at the Sea Lancers Dive Club.. said the hammers like to cruise the ledge..
on their way into Pearl Harbor.. the sharks must live in one of the lochs.

btw.. anyone know a good video hosting web site? that also posts full sized video images?
