I can think of a few attractions: workmanship, build quality, dependability, customer service, support or old models, resale value, 2nd hand market desirability. 2nd stage swivel is not one of them

FWUW I saw this auction for an Atomic Aquatic Comfort Swivel LP Hose 7'

The funny part is that they left the heat sink jam nut on. It should have been removed.
