Okay, here are my 5, not in order:

1) Always keep your airway open. (Always keep breating)
2) Always keep a reserve of air.
3) Always stay within yout training (i.e dont dive to 550ft asfter just getting OW, night dive when you dont know what a torch is, and dont go touring around inside a wreck if you dont have the training)
4)Always stay with your buddy (Never dive alone)
5)Always be alert, and consious of what is going on around you.

1. Don't dive with strokes.
2. Don't listen to strokes.
3. There is nothing underwater worth dying for.
4. Don't dive a rebreather unless you need it.
5. Always neutrally bouyant and in control of your bouyancy at all times.
6. Always look good... wait, what forum is this? :ignore:

Has anyone thought of ...Don't panic?

Here's mine ...

1. End the dive with the same buddy you started it with.
2. Always listen to "that little voice" ... it could save your life someday.
3. Take only pictures, and don't leave any damn footprints.
4. Respect the "locals" ... it's their home, after all.
5. Don't worry about what other people think ... it's just diving ... the objective is to have fun.

If a Shark is after you, swim faster than your buddy

Don't have to swim as hard if you cut your buddy's fin straps first :eyebrow:

Rule #6. when diving with Jonnythan, take bolt crops to cut his spring straps or just a mallet to break his ankles/kneecaps ;)
