I found on the net a super deal for a 4800 lumens scuba diving light on ebay (TrustFire 3 x CREE XM L T6 Emitters 4800 Lumen Diving Flashlight 26650 Charger | eBay). I received the box yesterday and my first surprise was...........what a huge flashlight but I guess for a 4800 lumens, it`s worth it. Last night, I gave it a try and see how it`s compare with my 21 W HID canister light. Well................it not a 4800 lumens light and I could easily say that it`s more a 1500 lumens. So, dont be fool by the wonderful deal on ebay :-(

Lumen is not a good indicator of the brightness of a light. I have a 1500 lumen light that is brighter than my 21 W HID light.

Sorry to hear you got sucked into buy that light. Here is a conversation about what happens to this light once under water. Its a long long read but well worth the info if you want to keep that light.
Don't use it underwater until you see my photos though. Here is the shorter version.
