I tested the lamp DL46 twice on lake
I can confirm the need to be able to install a Goodman handle.

and a litlle hole to fix a boltsnap

as can be found on a big Bigblue

So as promised I took the light out for diving today. Swedish waters, water temperature 7 degrees Celsius. There are some issues with the light unfortunately for diving in these conditions. The beam angle is a issue, it reflects a lot of particles. The weight is another issue. It is very heavy on the hand. Also when you put it on setting 3 which is the 20000 lumen mode it impresses for 1 minute and the it drops down to what feels like setting 2. If you then switch it from 2 to 3 again you get another 40 seconds ish of 20000 lumen but again after around 1 minute it dies down.

I would not recommend this light unfortunately if you dive murky waters.

Well yeah thats what one would expect drom the specs and pics. The spil around the spot (corona) is way too bright.

The X Lumen is also just marketing. Its useless if just for 2min or even 10min. You need a bright spot within 10° or for technical purposes around 5°. In that spot there should be a Lux value at 1m around 60k+ Lux for an extended period of time. If its no electronics it just will follow the dischsrge pattern od the battery, which is ok if it lasts long enough for a good value.

Now all current available LED have around 3A per 1k Lumen.
So for total of 20k lumen you would need around 60A current.
You can do the math alone ...both temperature as well as how long the batteries can last this.
So think yourself, and do not always believe all the marketing numbers.

True . When made DIY lights have a lot of problems how to reduce weight made my own bodies for torches because a production of thin walls is a bit complicated. Under water you may reduce weight by buoyancy but it is still noticeable at the hand movement as '' momentum ''
