30 bucks too much???

I was just wondering if 30 bucks is the usual
shipping price for an AL80 tank....I wanted
to send back an old Luxfer tank through
the voucher program and they said it would
cost 30bucks to mail it.....am I getting jipped
or is that accurate....

Well, if you live in Florida, and you are shipping it to NC, then yes, thats a little high. Have you tried UPS ground? Thats usually a little cheaper. For instance, it costs me $18 to ship one down to NC to return to Luxfer. I live in MA...

Contact The Dive Locker. They are running a deal on Luxfer swapouts using bulk shipping instead of the onesy-twosey UPS rape. I believe prices were in the ~$70 range if you re-used your valve.

I expect to drag a dozen or so bottles over that way before the end of Dec.
