I just don't log dives
timg and I joined Mario and tatihana on their vessel for 3 dives this morning offshore key largo. again ideal conditions; sunny skies, minimal winds and nearly flat seas. dive #1: THE USCG DUANE buoy D1(bow), dusty blue viz increasing to 70FT on the wreck, zero surface current picking up to mdt @ depth, water temp 84F @ 60-125FT.`enormous goliath on the bow, sharks, turtle. #2: MOLASSES deep buoy M27, dusty blue viz 50-60FT, minimal current, 84F @ 40-80FT. #3; moved inshore to MOLASSES buoy M9(permit ledge/fire coral cave, pillar forest), no current, blue viz 45-50FT, 85F @ 25-35FT. fun day on the water especially diving off someone else's boat! pics from timg,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I particularly like the Whitespotted Filefish and the Spotted Moray, a day for spots. Thanks Tim

The spotted moray out and reared up, but not hostile looking, was especially nice.

Thank you Richard. The eel is injured or ill. The interior of its mouth was all swollen, but he moved as usual and found a hole in the reef to disappear.
