Well, I'd have to say some folks just don't play well with others

Crikey - Pot, Kettle, meet Mr. Black....

I play fair always :blinking: I have wee pea's to worry about when I dive, so I have to make sure they can be taken care of. For the Invasion they will be at grandma's house.:sigh: I needed a reef that they be comfortable on and wanted to see. If that makes me one that does not play fair sorry, I will always side with my boy's "always". Besides I live here so I can dive most anytime. It had nothing to do with one place being better than another it had to do with what my kids wanted to do this weekend.
I'm sorry I can only be spread so thin here and I think I worked my :mooner: off to make sure everyone was happy and fed and had a cool dry bed to sleep in. In fact I gave up my bedroom and slept on the sofa with the kids on the floor this weekend just to make sure 2 more that came in had a bed to sleep in. I also spent $400 plus on food and drinks............. :11::11::11:

Mrs h2oSkier and I are in for the Saturday AM/PM diving from boat 1. I'm loving the itinerary and can't think of a better idea for an early Cinco de Mayo celebration!

It was a pleasure meeting and diving with you both. We should plan some more trips, being that we're practically neighbors. ;)

Yeah Gary, nothing like 5' seas to show you how much crap is in the bottom of the tank. Ask me about my old Stamas sometime... :11:

If the Sinko trip was with Conch Republic, what event did you guys have?

The original one where I met some good friends last year. Was there ever any other? I don't come to dive with a particular shop or a particular boat, but with my friends. Sometimes we're on the same boat, sometimes not, but it's after the diving when the food's hot and the beer's cold and the stories get better as the night goes on, that's why I come down.

And thanks Becky, once again you've out done yourself! :D

I could let sleeping dogs lie but it's just not my nature.

If you weren't diving with the CRD boats, you weren't diving at "the" event this thread is titled about, you were simply in the Keys at the same time the event was. I'm thinking if your friends had done the trips that Ron set up with CRD, you would have met another dozen people you'd be calling friends.

Might I ask what Ron could have done differently from a trip and location perspective that would have brought everyone together? I guess what I mean is, why was there the need for a second charter? We didn't fill either up either operator's boat but as one group, we could have.

I had a great time, 3 absolutely perfect dives on the Bibb, Duane and Spiegel. The ride to and from the Eagle was a bit... sporting, but the dive itself was great. The guys at CRD were top notch, had our tanks ready and waiting. Finally getting to know and dive with some new people was great, really enjoyed dinner Brian.

Thanks to Ron for getting the dives setup, awesome job.

A huge thanks to Becky for setting us up at Kawamas. That place is a steal at the current pricing and will definitely be my choice when bringing a group down, especially a mixed (divers and non-divers) group.

Things never go as smoothly as planned, but I for one, am happy as a clam after this trip. :)

Stuart let me know all the swim throughs and penetrations in the Florida Keys were closed. Especially for those of you on rebreathers and doubles. Good thing he let me know before I got down there as I might of been in trouble.

Now...my question is where did that Snoopy footage come from???
