23 Hour Surface Interval Before Flying

Also keep in mind that a 1:05 flight won't be in the air at 1:05, that's generally when they leave the gate. In Kona it won't take long to taxi and get in the air, but if your husband is looking for 24 hours, he'll get a few more minutes closer. Other airports you might actually get the full 30 minutes.

My computers have a 24 hour count-down and a desaturation count-down. I look to be completely desaturated (at least according to the computers) before flying, but I don't believe that has ever been 24 hours.
 
Make sure you are well hydrated and use 36% mix for your dive.
But if you can't get Nitrox, aren't certified, or just don't want to spend the money - quite unneeded.

It takes me over 18 hours to wash, dry, and pack my gear then get to the airport.

Yeah, but that's because you haul so much "STUFF" around with you! :rofl3:
