Join us for
Megadive's 10th anniversary!

Please let Ginnie Springs know when checking in, you're with the ScubaBoard Megadive to get your 10% discount on camping and diving.

Don't forget chairs and something to contribute to the group dinner. Here's a run down of the weekend.
All are welcome for a weekend of diving and camping fun!

We have reservations for the
2014 Fallfest Megadive
Mark your calendars for
Oct. 24th - 26th

We're going to celebrate
Megadive's 10th Birthday!

Come for 1 day or the whole weekend.

All are welcome. This event is open to all dive levels, newbie OW, all the way to full cave certification. If you don't have a buddy, don't worry, there are a bunch of us and there's always someone ready for a dive! Diving is set at your own pace, when and where you want in between eating and sleeping. The only dive that is a scheduled dive will be the galaxy dive around dusk on Sat. evening. As it is a family event, there are plenty of non divers and kids too.

Ginnie Springs has a full service dive shop and a pretty nice little store.
They also rent canoes, kayaks and tubes for use on the river.
Check out their website below for further info, park maps and directions.
Florida Staycation vacation place for scuba diving & Florida ecotourism
Or give them a call at Ginnie Springs Outdoors 1-386-454-7188

When you get to Ginnie Springs, you'll need to check in the Main Office, tell them you are with the ScubaBoard group as we get a 10% discount. If you check in on Friday and won't be diving until Sat., go ahead and pay for your diving then and get your wrist bands. It can get really busy on Sat. and you don't want to waste your time waiting in line again. Sometimes we do a sunrise dive before the shop opens and you don't want to miss one of the best dives of the day!
We have the Turkey Roost area reserved. Most of us will be tent camping. Some though do stay in town at the motel, but you'll miss a lot of the fun...
There isn't electricity where we're camping, but the are several taps with running water and grills. There is electricity at the pavilion
and bathrooms w/showers are a short walk away.
Don't forget to bring chairs for around the fire and bug spray if the bugs like you.
No need to make reservations, but sign up on this thread and let us know how many are attending in your party and what you'll be bringing to pitch in for the group dinner and breakfast or if you would be willing
to help prepare and clean up for the meals.
Once a week up until the event, I'll update the food list, helpers and who's attending.
Check for the latest list for ideas on what to bring and what's still needed.
So come join us for a weekend of Fun!

Looking forward to this weekend! We plan on getting there Friday night but it will be after dinner. We'll be bringing our little camper so we reserved an electric spot but we'll be over to meet everyone and hang out. Along with our previous list, we'll also bring some hot dogs/buns for dinner. Chris is willing to help cook dinner Sat night and we'll help with cleanup.

I am going to cut up an onion or 2 for the omelettes, and see what else I might bring for the omelettes. Still bringing side-items for Saturday cook out. My friends are bringing 2 dozen eggs.

Scubafool---my fiance is a homebrewer like you and will bring at least a few bottles to share and we will probably bring other craft beers too. He doesn't dive, so he's coming up to drink good beer, hang with good people and enjoy the outdoors!

I have two additional friends coming to dive. As for me i am still bringing hot dogs, but i am bringing bacon instead eggs. I got s package of buns too. I am baking cookies tonight.

Edited to add fiddle!!!
