2010 Spring Megadive Thread

Gettin closer, only a couple weeks away and there has been nary a mention of food.
Dennis and Roxanne have been our knights in shining armor often cooking and bringing more than their fair share of food. I haven't seen them post yet, so I don't know if they will be making it or not.. anybody ready to step up to the plate, so to speak, and offer to orchastrate the Sat. Afternoon meal?

Great point Jenny! And with all the off-topic chatter in this thread, was wondering if it wouldn't be a good idea for JahJah to start a separate thread for all that planning.

Put me on the list for two of the 18 count trays of eggs, and maybe a few 2 liter sodas. Still debating on whether or not i should smoke two boston butts. It might infringe on my sleep leading up to the drive down, then there is cooling it, kepeing it cool, then reheating it, unless you guys like cold pork barbq sammiches.

Scuba Jenny & Hermit Crab - S'mores fixins, couple pounds fried n crumbled bacon for brekky, something sweet for Sat. dinner.

thats a maybe on the boston butts. I gotta find a way to coolk them there on site, or just before I leave. May have a way to cook them on site.

I'll be down on friday about noon. I will more than likely bring my smoker, but its an electric pellet smoker, so I need to figure out the power issue. Any ideas? You've seen the campsites.

I don't remember any power spots anywhere near us, but we can always grab the pavillion during the day. The castle is only 15 miles from there, so it's not a prob for me to bring a cooker. Tomorrow, a LOT more kitchen/cooking stuff is heading over there. So is the rest of the dive gear and camping gear.
