Shoreline Diving Services Vice President Richard Simon found a wheeled submarine that could drive on the sea floor and a door for divers.

Pretty cool!

Thank you @PEDiver for the interesting read about Simon Lake XV renamed the "Defender".
Simon's scheme to salvage gold is a pretty good one, no one would even know your were there.

Riding on the bottom sure does make me laugh, maybe cause my imagination starts with the Oscar Mayer Weiner mobile circling Spongebob's bikini bottom. :giggle:
 

This wreck is listed on Nautical Charts. Anyone know the exact depth or a Charter Boat that will take a small group to that wreck?
 
This is the 3rd thread I've seen on the Defender... I doubt anyone's disclosing her location yet, but I certainly understand the interest.
