10/1 .. Lauderdale or Freeport ???

Are the Bahamas worth the xtra expense ?? Wife & I are looking to get wet the 1st week in Oct. We're interested in bigger life (sharks, rays, dolphins etc) as our last trip (Curacao) only provided small life.

I like Freeport a LOT better than Lauderdale.
When I'm in Freeport I stay at Ocean Reef Yacht Club and Resort.

We dive with Grand Bahama Scuba

We usually see Sharks, Rays and Turtles. I've heard of them meeting up with wild dolphins too (not to be confused with UNEXSO's trained Dolphins), I've seen them on the surface but not at depth

GrandBahama has some good dives to be had,FtLauderdale has too much pressure on it and the crowds,
North a bit Palm Beach would be my first choice to save $$ Best dives around In the USA.GrandBahama We do in fall wih the extra cash we saved,Bahamas can be not cheap,$12+ for a six pack of beer!
