I am not aware of any place that makes custom wetsuits in materials that thin. However, custom shops could probably alter a suit that is too large in areas.

As stated by others here, a really thin wetsuit is very stretchy, so you should be able to find something that will fit and be comfortable.

I have a .5mm wetsuit from Parkway Scuba and it works very well for temps above 72 degrees F. Of course I have a goofy face, but not such a goofy body.

One other thing to consider is that Henderson makes a 1mm Microprene series of wetusits. My buddy has one and he absolutely loves it for warm water diving.

Just a few thoughts at random.

I've got 3 of Bob3's ScubaMax .5 suits. One I cut off and made a shorty out of it, just hemmed the legs and arms on the sewing machine with a long stretch stitch. They are very stretchy and easy to get on, not your normal neoprene. More like a very thick neoprene-like skin. For the temps your in, they are perfect to keep you from getting chilled but I wouldn't count on it for warmth like you would a wetsuit. If you find you need core warmth, you could add a neoprene vest.

Bare makes a .5mm but I am not sure about customs. Henderson has been great with making customs for myself and my best friend. I needed the arms shortneded but not just cut off!!

good luck on your search!!

what about liquid fit??? Can't they make one?

.5-1 mm sews pretty much like fabric, if you know someone who sews well or find a willing tailor you can start with one that's big enough everywhere and have them take it in where needed. Because of the stretchiness you don't have to be too exact about it. One trick if a sewing machine does not get along with the neoprene is to wrap the area you're sewing in tissue paper and tear it off afterwards.

Henderson does advertise on their web site
(http://www.hendersonusa.com/)
that they do custom size wetsuits. I found it in the section labeled "PERFECT FIT" on their website. There is a link to "DIGITAL FIT" for people that cannot find a size that will fit properly. You would have to find an authorized Henderson dealer to do the proper measurements. See
http://www.hendersonusa.com/size_charts.html

No disrespect intended to anyone, but Henderson Microprene is thinner than 2mm.
