My wife and I will be in Bonaire in June. In our 10+ years of diving (only 1-2 trips per year...sigh), only I have been the finder of a seahorse. We have seen others that were found by people we are diving with but not much luck on our own. Seahorses are my wife's favorite and I would love to be...

...for letting Bruce and Lynn join us at the ScubaBoard Surge in Bonaire. They brought two Perdix AI kits for folks to try out, which was the hot commodity here. Most of all, the opportunity to simply chat with them was priceless. Thanks for a great product and great diver support.
I finally had a chance to use my macro lens underwater for the first time in Bonaire and it was a lot of fun. In fact, it was more fun looking for the little stuff than I thought it would be as generally I like the big stuff :) Here are a few of my shots taken with a Canon 5D MIII using a Macro...
Just finished a fabulous week at Buddy Dive Resort Bonaire, sipping ice cold Polars on the patio, reflecting on 15 great dives and thought I better post before I have to go back home and reality takes over.
I had scheduled a couple of guided dives with Bas Diving early in the week but a slight...
I'm thinking about visiting Bonaire between April - November for a week. Which month is the best to visit if you had to pick? I know general conditions are great year round. But are there any unique underwater events I should be thinking about - like coral spawning, bioluminescence, etc.
We are headed to Bonaire in a few weeks and are planning to use AB car rental and AB dive. The package and the tank delivery seem to be perfect for our trip. Has anyone else had experience with their tank delivery?

Getting that tropical itch!
Still planning, but I can be somewhat flexible. Either Early-Mid Nov, or Late Nov-Early Dec. Plan to fly in and out of Curaçao (flights on weekends) with around a week apiece in C&B.
Looking mainly for a buddy/roommate in Bonaire, but open to Curaçao too.
I hope...
How is the diving in the ABC islands? My group of 3 is going to include a new diver and I'm gun shy on drift dives. We're going to be there a week and plan to do as much shore diving as possible. That being said we don't want to fight currents and all the whole time we're there. So is any of...

The wife and I made our annual trip to Bonaire June 10-18. This was our 8th trip in 8 years. We have seen a lot of changes over the years.
Flights-We live in Houston. We took the United out of Houston. There were no issues. For the past couple of years, the return flight direct to Houston is...
I'm looking for suggestions in Carib for a June trip. We have 100+ dives, comfortable boat or shore. No tec, no wreck. Having seen some great reefs (Bonaire, Cozumel) and some crappy ones (Jamaica) I know the difference. My priority would be finding a nice reef in good shape with a lot of...
Instead of writing up a long trip report, I decided to create this video instead, showing video and photo highlights from my recent trip to Buddy Dive Resort in Bonaire in December 2016. I know it's 10 minutes long, but it moves pretty quick given all the different sites that were visited. It...
Just finished a week of diving in Bonaire. This was my fifth dive destination in the Caribbean, and I found the diving there to be very good and the Dutch influenced culture to be quite seductive.
We stayed at the Carib Inn which I selected for its modest pricing and low key small resort...
Just back from two weeks in the ABC’s, and want to ‘pay it forward’ to those who helped me plan and those who will follow! Caveats: we are novice & casual divers, we plan trips based on the overall destination rather than solely by the diving. We bring our mask & fins but don’t own any other...
I'm planning to dive with Dive Friends Bonaire, and do some guided dives the first couple days and then either find some buddies to go with or just keep doing dives with them. My brother may be coming with me, but it's not 100%, so that's why I'm looking for potential buddies. I know that's high...
due to character limitations needed to split report into two...
Cai – probably best dive due to diverse topography/structures in one dive. Walls, slopes, sandy patches, lots of coral growth; this was a 104 minute dive with no deeper than 44’. Average depth at 24; school of tarpon (40+), school...
