how much is the "small businesses" profit on a bc or wetsuit, or how about when someone walks into a shop just lookjng for fins mask and snorkel not knowing anythin about diving or even intending on diving just wanting to snorkel or get sum gear for a vaca and then get upsold some expensive mask...
dont get me wrong im not saying to to do all your browsing and fitting at the dive shop then turn around and buy online only to come back to the shop and expect a deal on anything but theres needs to be a healthy balance ive spent ,plenty! of money at my dive shop but at the same time I've been...
if a shop is willing to price match thats a whole different deal ,but just like the shop in in business to make money the consumer needs to find the best deal for themselves

its like sayin you shouldnt go to a local retail store try...
also when looking for fins have on the wet suit boots you intend on buying when you try your fins on ...the boots could bethe difference between a pair of fins fitting properly and not
if your completely set on buying from amazon i would suggest goin to different dive shops trying on different equipment and if and when you find what you like look for that on amazon
thanks everyone for your input and advise but as far a choosing a drysuit i feel as if im not
much closer than before, mostly because of my own indecisiveness , i know i would like latex neck and wrist seals and and only front entry and maby sewn in neo boots with rock boots as far as material...
thanks for the info but i think a club geared more towards scuba would be better for me .. ive tried my hand at freediving before i was certified and i have the breath holding capabilities of a 70 yr old lifetime smoker
defintaely no valve, my fisrt mast also had a purge valve and whenever i dove the valve would press on the underside of my nose once i started my decent and was a costant distraction until i surfaced, now it just sits in a box in my basment, a nice low profile mask will do just fine
yeah that sucks esp from a brand new reg, im in no way qualified to give u repair advise but if it were me in ur situation i would be goin to the dive shop u bought the reg from and having them rectify the problem and if you bought it online then just be persistant wih who ever you talk to scuba...
hey there just wondering if anyone here is a member of the OCA dive club and if so i am looking for a club to join and would like some info good or bad if any about the club in general
