For the mask its self, as others have said, toothpaste works best. I have never tried the look, in fact i don't see it listed on their site, only the Look2. I have, however used the Ventura+, micromask, Favola, Infinity, and Teknika. I highly recommend the Teknika and Favola in particular.

I have a friends with the Hotshots and he wears a neoprene sock with them, no bootie, and swears by it. Keeps his feet warm in cooler water without having to switch to bigger fins.

Beanojones, I would also add the new Aquabionic Warp1 fins to the hinged category. I can highly recommend these, they're great. They absolutely destroyed my Atomic splits and Scubapro Seawing Novas.

I can't speak to the Lotus, as I've never used it for obvious reasons. However, I have used both the Axiom i3 and the Dimension i3. Both are superb; in comfort, in performance, pretty much everything. The i3 is a great system, easy to learn and easier to use on the go, so i can recommend it.
