Where to get NAUI Certified for Drysuit Diving?

What about the woodlands location? I'm down the road from there.

Where to get NAUI Certified for Drysuit Diving?

So even going to a PADI center would be sufficient? I would think it's just buoyancy management, right? One more thing to deal with while under water?

Where to get NAUI Certified for Drysuit Diving?

I would like to start planning a trip to Iceland to dive the divide, and it pretty much requires a drysuit. Where can I get trained in drysuit use / certified for them in Houston? I'm a NAUI Master diver w/ NITROX currently.

Looking for a Dive Trip to the Flower Gardens...

How do you get that, let alone for a party of 3 to 4?

Looking for a Dive Trip to the Flower Gardens...

Me and a few friends are wanting to go see the flower gardens this summer. Maybe do some lionfish hunting, and hopefully see the whale sharks. Any liveaboards running and have open weekends (late June preferred) to run this trip? Thanks!

    DIY tank paint cleaning

You don't want to use any blasting media that's too hard (silica, sand, glass bead etc). You can work harden the aluminum. Soft stuff like walnut shell or baking soda should do the trick.

    Cheaper Spears

Anodized aluminum is going to be your best bet for anti-corrosion and weight. Any kind of steel (unless high end nickel alloy) is going to rust when exposed to sea water.

Diving twins with manifold and isolator, but 1 reg?

Thank you. Did some more reading just now on the trim of the 120's vs 100's, and the air capacity of both vs the Al80's. It might wind up being a complete wash financially if I wanted to "upgrade" to a HPS 100 (because I'm not a tall guy, normal 5'10"), due to the minimal gain in air volume when...

Diving twins with manifold and isolator, but 1 reg?

Thanks, but I don't smoke, and I swim miles for my workout. I want to get out into the gulf and do some fish hunting. I miss diving the salt.

    nitrox or air,

I always prefer NITROX (for both bottom time, and anti post dive fatigue), blend depending on PP tables. Plan your dive, dive your plan.

Diving twins with manifold and isolator, but 1 reg?

If I went that route, that's what I would do to the "un-regulated" valve.

Diving twins with manifold and isolator, but 1 reg?

Well then I suppose from an economics standpoint, if I have to rehydro both my Al80's, replace the old K valves to a manifold, and get a tech diving BC, would it not be more wise to sell the Al80's and pick up a HPS 120 if my goal is to elongate my bottom time?

Diving twins with manifold and isolator, but 1 reg?

Is there any way to dive a pair of aluminum 80's with a manifold such as this: DGX Premium Dual-Outlet Manifold w/Isolator | Dive Gear Express® but only use 1 set of regulators to breathe both tanks? Is this advisable? If not, why? I am looking to prolong bottom time in shallow water (30-40...

Picked up a pair of S600's from beaver divers. Thanks.

Looking into a hawaiian sling for a newbie...

I picked up a 48" aluminum solid body pole spear from a local diveshop with a 3 prong (non barbed) paralyzer.

    DIN to Yoke Adapter?

I've already ordered a Zeagle unit which should arrive tomorrow. Thank you though.

    DIN to Yoke Adapter?

I think they had attempted to red locktite it, but it failed on the first installation, if that says anything.

    DIN to Yoke Adapter?

The issue is that it wasn't machined as a single piece, rather in 2, to save money. The yoke part is threaded into the DIN part with no set screw or other mechanical stop. So when you go to unscrew the adapter from the DIN 1st stage, the yoke portion unscrews instead of the entire adapter.
