I'll be going to Bora Bora Tahiti for my honeymoon in November and wanted to know how expensive it is to dive there and which dive shop to use.

Man, the guy I signed up my DM with told me I can get a job anywhere in the world. I thought I'd be DM'ing on a boat and diving on my days off for free. It sounded really glamorous. I guess I'll study and get more $$ to get EFRI,IDC,etc. So long for that dream dive job in Hawaii or Thailand.

I'm safe,professional and helpful diver with 70+ dives. I have excellent communication skills,know CPR & 1st aid. I have a VW bus so I've a vehicle with cargo capacity.

Okay I should probably put this in the classified section but wasn't sure. I just became a DM. I want a job. I heard that LDS's will only hire a DM if they are OWSI. I also don't have EFR instructor. How can I get a job?

I was thinking about being an instructor but might not have the $$ funds. How much does the IDC cost complete with books and all? How much time to complete it?

How does this sound? "Hey is it okay if I go to dive shop XYZ and see a different instructor to get my audits?". What do you think he's going to think or say?

I've got 3 more open water internship/audits to complete my DM unfortunately i check with my school and business has been slow and there's nothing I can do. I'm tempted to go to another school/shop and see if there are any opportunities there. I'm too afraid to ask my instructor.
