I want to check out the pet cemetery and the pit next time I go out there. I should just get my full cave done out there. Cant think of a better place to do it.

i was reading about this when I was down there last week and it is very sad. We did have a chance to see one off of the punta venada reef. ( I think I am saying that right). it kept its distance from us but it was about a 10 footer.

Oh yea i would never enter a cenote with out the proper training alone but the people that I will be diving with have full cave and into to cave. cancuncanuck- i am going to look into this place and see what it is all about. it sounds really interesting.

Anyone interested in doing a little cavern/cave diving December 2nd or December 3rd? PM me if you are interested :).. Looks pretty decent but I guess you can only dive in this area a few months out of the year.

yea that makes a lot of sence, I talked to a few agencies and the smaller towns have volunteer teams since they cant afford the equipment due to their budget. Some agencies have dive teams and have all the gear, people, and gear set up already. I will update if I hear anything.

Awesome thank you for the heads up. Makes me feel a bit better. I figured they would be relaxed about everything. Now I cant wait to go, less than two weeks :)
